Here for Good
We want to help improve digital inclusion for children and feed the hungry in Kansas City. So, for a limited time, you can help as we’re donating 10% of sales on our new business and crisis projects to the cause of your choice:
Connecting for Good works to bridge the digital divide with community technology centers, wireless internet, low cost refurbished PCs, and free digital life skills classes. Their work has become critically important during the pandemic, as they help ensure all children have access to the equipment and technology they need to learn remotely while schools are closed.
Companies can help close the digital divide by donating good, used laptop computers. The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is leading this effort with their “Employer Laptop Challenge.” Learn more here or contact Ron Michka for more information.
NourishKC is a non-profit dedicated to feeding anyone in need and changing lives in the process. The organization operates several food programs, including the Kansas City Community Kitchen, a network of emergency food pantries and meal programs, food rescue, and the Culinary Cornerstones Training program. The challenges of creating a food-secure city have grown exponentially during the pandemic, and help is needed more than ever.
