Creative Candles Catalogue

CHALLENGE
Creative Candles’ annual catalogue provides sales reps and retailers with an overview of the brand’s entire candle line. With more than 40 colors, dozens of sizes and shapes, and a variety of collections available for gift-giving, the catalog and its sister piece — an eight-page order form — had become overwhelming. The company needed sales tools that were easier to manage for the brand and easier to navigate for the customer. Our task was to reorganize the information into a more manageable format, while simultaneously refreshing the brand’s look and feel.

SOLUTION
Our strategy sessions with the client’s sales team revealed that color and breadth of line were the big stories for Creative Candles, so we opted for a clean and simple look that made the line’s colorful assortment the hero of the brand story. Almost every product was reshot, and information was organized in a format that was more user-friendly. The size of the book was reduced from 8 ½" x 11" to half that size, in order to accommodate the new format and save money on printing. The order form was redesigned to be less confusing, more comprehensive, and easier to use with the catalogue.
