(1883\u20131948)<\/p>\n<p>FABRICATED BY: James\u00a0Powell &amp; Sons (Whitefriars), Ltd, London, England<\/p>\n<p>INSTALLED: July 1930<\/p>\n<p>DEDICATED: October 26, 1930<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"column-wrapper\">\n<p class=\"bodyheader\">Symbolism<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Christ\u2019s hands extend downward in an attitude of acceptance.<\/li>\n<li>He wears garments of gold, signifying heavenly treasure, and His tri-radiant halo denotes Him as a member of the Trinity.<\/li>\n<li>At Christ\u2019s right, John the Baptist holds a scallop shell, with which he baptizes Christ, and a cruciform staff that reads \u201cBehold the Lamb of God\u201d in Latin.<\/li>\n<li>Like Mary in the <em>Annunciation<\/em> and <em>Nativity<\/em> windows, John the Baptist wears a cloak of blue, representing heavenly contemplation.<\/li>\n<li>The figure at Christ\u2019s right is believed to be Saint John the Beloved. He wears a red garment signifying divine love.
