Institute for Urban Education

UMKC’s Institute for Urban Education (IUE) addresses racial disparities and educational inequities through the preparation and support of teachers in Kansas City. The Institute was ready to elevate their web presence and develop a brand unique to their mission. The IUE enlisted The Creative Department to evaluate their content, develop an intuitive user experience for communicating who they are and the services they provide, and cultivating a brand identity that visually communicates their goal: developing building blocks for richly diverse schools in Kansas City.

“Working with the Creative Department was an absolute pleasure. I was particularly impressed with their willingness to learn about who we are and what we do. From the start, they approached this work with care and consideration. It was obvious that they were fully committed to creating a product that truly represented our work. This is not an easy task, but the Creative Department was patient and diligent throughout, ensuring that the process resulted in a final product of which we are extremely proud. If seeking a trusted partner for your marketing or design project, look no further—the Creative Department is truly wonderful.”
